Looking beyond ourselves

In honour of Rose-Marie Dash
31.1.1972 – 28.8.2017

At all times we will have a communal project.

This concept comes from some time I spent helping Rose-Marie. A Mum of 4 children and the former CEO of HS Vision group. At the height of her career she was cutting million dollar deals. During her struggle with cancer, she suffered a stroke and lost her purpose. Our children were all at primary school together. We started making craft packs for art classes in our staff room, a simple activity which brought some joy and purpose. Looking beyond yourself, finding a way to help again and connect with others is important for all of us. For this reason, theShe Shed, Cairns will always have an outreach project we are working on. We are many but we are one.

Currently we make and donate cards for the Oncology Ward, Once She Shed Cairns is open we will be working with Michelle Torrens and Cairns Junk Weavers Blankets for the homeless out of recycled coffee bags
